Mission and Goals
The context of modern culture along with new trends and aspirations of the young generation pose considerable challenges to youth ministers.
Through our educational programs and courses, we strive to equip young ministers for quality ministry with young people, so that every leader is ready to overcome thechallenges and hardships on the path of daily work with today's young generation.
That is why #CYM chose the following emphases in God's mission:
-1- To mentor students
To effectively preach the Gospel among youth and teenagers, taking into account their culture.
-2- To help students
Acquire and develop skills necessary for work and service in local churches.
-3- To enable students
To gain a clear understanding in the preparation of programs for effective ministry to teenagers.
-4- To develop students
Confidence and skills to find and build their leadership team.
-5- To educate students
On the process of assessment, task definition and strategic planning.
-6- To introduce students
To contemporary cross-cultural concepts and strategies and help them apply theological, historical, and anthropological principles in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership planning in a cross-cultural context.
-7- To prepare students
For service in local churches: teaching the Bible, Christian pastoral care, administration in organizational structures and performing pastoral duties.
-8- To encourage students
To continue their studies so that in the future they can work as teachers of youth ministry at Bible colleges and seminaries in Ukraine and abroad.
The team members of the Center for Youth Ministry
Come from different cities of Ukraine and different countries of the world. All of them are united by love for young people and concern for leaders, churches, and the growth of youth ministry.
